Grieving Well
My wife of 25 years passed away on January 3, 2019, after a valiant 3.5 year battle with ovarian cancer. These two categories were borne out of our family's grieving process.
Inspired by my wife's Facebook posts which were always titled "Cancer Conversations", these articles are things I learned or discovered as my family and I walked through our grief.
The Year of Firsts
The title of this section came from our counselor who said that the first year was going to be a tough one. "It's a year of firsts," she said. These are entries detailing the experiences of all the firsts we encountered following my wife's passing.
Patchwork Prose
This is just a collection of my other written pieces. They're unrelated to grieving and might be writing prompts or just random thoughts.
